International Boxing &
Kickboxing Organisation

We are an international martial arts organisation that is working to bridge the gap between different disciplines of Tatami / Mat and Ring based striking sports.

Our vision is to create an International Network where clubs can not only compete with, but train alongside each other to further the enrichment of learning of different cultures across different countries.

We aim to give opportunities to learn different styles of martial arts from a range of experienced professionals from all around the world.

We hope to create enriching learning opportunities and we believe that an educational cultural visit will play a vital role in supporting, developing and extending the learning and life experiences of our members and students.

It will also give young students the chance to learn in different contexts outside of the classroom or school based environment.

With the rising popularity of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) it is not uncommon to have boxers, kickboxers and other striking style martial artist training alongside each other in gyms across the globe. With this in mind IBKO was formed to provide an integrated environment where these clubs can compete under the same banner, and martial artists can grow into other disciplines.

We have a specific set of rules and divisions that are consistent and clear, enabled by modern approaches and technology whilst still differentiating between each style and recognising their traditions and individuality.

Martial Artists can compete across disciplines without the need of applying for any additional licensing to any other governing body.

We offer sanctioned, well facilitated tournaments that enable multiple ‘striking sports’ to run alongside each other and encourage martial artists to compete across a range of disciplines.
We will work with other reputable governing bodies to progress the sports in a positive and productive way.
